Assist Teaching Hours

Working with and instructing real life clients can be an exciting but also challenging experience for student instructors. It’s important to remember that preparation goes a long way to feeling confident. Starting to teach Pilates involves:
- Honesty
- Realness
- Risk
- Courage
Students who start to familiarise themselves with teaching clients in real life, gaining experience and therefore gaining confidence are more likely to gain employment through establishing connections with clients, and working on real-life situations that occur whilst having a qualified instructor present and then learning from that.
Working through creating meaningful connections with clients, creating atmosphere through music and tone and exploring environments and applications of the method all contribute towards your success as an instructor.
