Course Withdrawals

If you haven’t quite connected with the study of Pilates and would like to move in a different direction we can facilitate a course withdrawal. Whilst we never like saying goodbye we understand that it can be necessary in exceptional circumstances and we’re here to make the process as straightforward as possible.

If you have a complaint or wish to discuss any issues relating to matters other than your assessment please contact hello@inspiredacademy.com.au direct. 

Appeals and re-assessment relating to assessment decisions are as follows

  • If you have submitted your assessment task within the course recommended timeframes (within two weeks of the module start date) and are graded as NYC the Trainer will give you specific feedback and you will be able to resubmit your assessment task once free of charge. If you are graded NYC a third time you will then need to pay the assessment resubmission fee as per the Terms and Conditions for a third and any additional resubmissions. 
  • If you have submitted your assessment task at the end of the course and are graded as NYC the Trainer will give you specific feedback and you will then need to pay the assessment resubmission fee as per the Terms and Conditions for a second and any additional resubmissions.

 

What if I can’t meet the deadline due to ill health? 

If you’re unable to meet assessment task recommended due dates (within two weeks of the module start date) due to ill health you may submit the assessment task (and any other outstanding assessment tasks) by the course end date. If you’re unable to submit your outstanding assessment tasks and final hours log by the course end date due to ill health at that time then the student assessment extension form must be completed and submitted along with documentary evidence, such as a medical certificate, indicating you are unable to complete the theoretical study and assessment tasks due to your ill health. This must be submitted no later than 10 business days prior to the course end date. Failure to do so will result in you being required to apply for a course extension in order to continue to study and have your assessment tasks marked. Note you are unable to graduate if you do not have your assessment tasks marked as C or ‘competent.’

Wherever possible you should try to compress your files to the maximum allowable size limit of 20MB. If your PDF is too large consider using an online compression service. If this is not possible, please consider uploading video files to youTube or Vimeo and including the link in the assignment submission form. Both youTube and Vimeo offer free video hosting plans and the ability to create links to your videos. Please check their respective websites on how to use their services. We are unable to support if you choose to use those platforms.
